PE 224 ELAST is a water-based paint composed of particular elastomeric copolymers and special polysiloxanes in emulsion
aqueous, selected calcareous and siliceous aggregates, titanium dioxide, pigments and specific additives to improve its applicability.
Furthermore, the particular formulation allows to obtain a product protected from the development of a broad spectrum of
species of mold and algae.

USE

PE 224 ELAST is a protective and decorative water-based paint for exteriors with good elasticity and high water repellency. It is a product suitable for application on any lime-cement based plaster when a finish is required to prevent or minimize the appearance of micro-cracks over time (maximum width 0.3 mm). To solve existing micro-cracks, at least 2 layers of product must be applied in order to reach a dry thickness of at least 150 microns.

APPLICATION

The application can be done with a brush or wool roller (preferably short-haired). To obtain a peel effect, apply with a sponge roller without diluting the second coat.
Dilution of PE 224 ELAST by weight with water: for brush application, first coat up to 15% and second coat up to 5%, while for roller application the product should be diluted on average 10-15%. Apply two coats at least 4 hours apart.
