The Global GB-ML Sleeve for non-combustible pipes "GB-ML", is a cooling mat suitable for insulation, made of a high-density mineral wool felt. It is also non-combustible and resistant to very high temperatures. Metal pipes (steel, copper, etc.) are, in fact, excellent conductors of heat, and therefore high temperatures, from a hot area to a cold area, especially when their dimensions are greater than 90 mm. In the event of a fire, the temperature of a pipe passing through a firewall can become so high as to be dangerous, especially due to radiation phenomena. Furthermore, the high temperature can cause unwanted combustion on the materials supporting the pipe affected by the thermal phenomenon.
